Nintendo shook up the gaming industry when it introduced the Nintendo Wii. Despite offering low power and mediocre graphical abilities, the Nintendo Wii console change gaming forever. Since, Microsoft and Sony have released competing products.
Now it’s Nintendo’s turn to fight back, and take the crown for innovation again. The new Nintendo Wii U doesn’t seem much different to the current Wii – but it comes with a brand new controller. This controller features a large screen in between controls, and can be used stand-alone or with your television screen.
The traditional Wii controller is kept, but it comes with Motion Plus built in. And finally – the Wii is HD! The Wii U is significantly more powerful than the Wii, with much better visuals.
We don’t know much more than this at the moment, but when the Wii U is released, we’re pretty sure it’s going to be as big a hit as last time. It will be interesting to see how big player Microsoft is going to respond.
