Lenovo Set to Release ‘Yoga’ Windows 8 Device

 Loading ...

With the brand new style of operating system that comes with Windows 8, Lenovo is set to release a brand new take on the laptop computer – the Yoga laptop. This laptop converts from laptop to tablet in an instant, but not like the rest of them do – instead, the screen simply turns all the way round and folds backwards. The keyboard remains at the back of the screen, and it can be used as a regular tablet.

With this design comes the benefit of having a full computer, instead of just a tablet. This is certainly the selling point for Windows 8 over iOS and Android offerings.

The computer will come with two USB 3.0 ports, 4GB of RAM and an Ivy Bridge Core i5 CPU. The start button is embedded into the bezel for use on tablet mode, and you can partially bend the screen back to allow it to stand by itself on a surface as a tablet. It’s an interesting new take and the market is certainly ready for it.
